An open floor plan (ours being circular) frees traffic flow in the 638-square-foot space. At one end is the food preparation area; at the opposite end we placed a sofa, chair, and ottoman on a rug to create a cozy seating area for reading, relaxing, and just hanging out. A drum-shade hanging light fixture adds to the “furnished” look.
