February 29–March 2: The Modern Show, New York City
Known for the hip clientele who attend, the Modern Show is devoted to 20th-century art, design, and furnishings. It is a sister show to the identically named event held every October. Some 85 dealers will display objects from the Art Deco, Mid-Century Modern, Art Nouveau, and Arts & Crafts periods—everything from Fornasetti plates and Georg Jensen silver to 1950s Italian lighting. The show is held at the 69th Regiment Armory, Lexington Avenue and 26th Street; admission: $15. For information, check stellashows.com.
