For a country antiques show billed as having “fair prices and friendly dealers, the way shows used to be,” head to central Pennsylvania May 17–19. The Historic East Berlin Antiques Show (www.ebhps.org), in its 10th year, will feature dealers specializing in such country favorites as 18th- and 19th-century painted furniture, Pennsylvania German redware, fraktur, samplers, and textiles. Proceeds benefit the East Berlin Historical Preservation Society. At the early buying preview on Thursday, May 17, from 5–8 p.m., the admission is $12. Regular admission on Friday and Saturday, May 18–19, is $5. The show takes place in the East Berlin Area Community Center, on Route 234, about 12 miles west of the York Fairgrounds. For information, call 717/259-0822.
