From the 2007 Kitchen and Bath Show, our showcase cabin is packed with style, storage, and great solutions for you to bring home.
Size matters, but who says small can’t be the end-all? With just 545 square feet, the weekend retreat Country Home editors created for the 2007 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show is all about everyday luxuries. Our getaway provides inspiration for creating a downsized, cozy home that lives large with big design ideas and creative space solutions. Read on to learn how you can bring our ideas to your home.
Though the footprint is compact, small-space solutions abound: a combination dishwasher/sink is perfect for small loads and quick clean-up; in the sleeping nook, the mattress tops a bed platform made from cabinetry, which provides bonus linen storage; and fixtures tuck neatly into the bathroom’s corners, making room for the soaking tub.
