APPLE BOUQUET

Make this bouquet for the table (or as a hostess gift). To start, pick a tall vase with an open or flared neck or a classic urn. Fill the bottom quarter of the vase with tumbled stones and add water. Cut small branches with leaves, then smash the bottom of each branch with a hammer. Nest the branches into the stones. Skewer apples and arrange them among the leaves.
