Download the illustrations of embroidery stitches and pattern. Print the embroidery pattern on transfer paper from the crafts store. Transfer the pattern to a piece of linen (its loose weave is forgiving for beginning stitchers). Thread your needle with cobalt-blue embroidery floss and follow the pattern. When finished, stretch the linen over an art-store canvas and staple in place. Paint and glaze an unfinished frame from the crafts store to complete the piece. Download the decorative flourishes; cut them out and adhere to the frame using decoupage medium.
