Don't be embarrassed by unsightly furniture: Cover it up! Here, we used four ticking stripe table runners to update this dated sideboard-without sewing a stitch! First, we placed a runner across the tabletop, with the sides draping to the floor. Then, we overlayed three runners on the table's front. Again, they drape to the floor to cover up the furniture underneath. For dressmaker detail, we created a pleated look by folding under the side edges of the center runner and gluing on decorative buttons.
