Black card-stock or construction paper
For a cylinder-shaped pumpkin, fold in the outer edge of the book’s first page to line up with the spine; crease along the fold. Continue to fold each page of the book and both covers in this manner.
For a cone-shaped pumpkin, fold down the top outer corner of the first page to line up the top edge of the page with the spine; crease along the fold. Next, fold in the remaining outer edge of the page to line up with the spine and crease. Continue to fold each page of the book and both covers in this manner.
Hot-glue the front and back covers together. Cut facial features, leaves, stems, and tendrils from black card-stock or construction paper. Twist the stems and tendrils into desired shape. Hot-glue the pieces in place on the pumpkin.
