Add more foliage to your kitchen table or buffet with this vase project. Katie loves the natural look, which is made easily with just a plastic milk jug, wood scraps, and a coat of spray paint. Then, fill the jug with fall flowers, berries, and twigs.
Materials:
1/2-gallon plastic milk jug
Thin wood scraps
Gold spray paint
Tools:
Glue gun
Heavy-duty scissors
1. Cut milk jug to desired height. (Just make sure it's under the handle!)
2. Cut wood into strips.
3. Spray paint a few of the strips gold. Let dry.
4. Glue pieces of gold and natural wood along inside rim.
5. Beginning at the top, cover the exterior of the jug with remaining pieces of wood.
TIP: To give the bouquet a fuller look, place a glass inside the vase to hold the flowers together.
