Showcase your treasured holiday greeting cards from past and present with this quick and easy project. Hang strips of
1 1/2-inch-wide satin ribbon down a door or wall. Anchor the ribbons to the top edge of the wall or door with tacks. Using a sharp blade, such as an X-acto knife, cut 2-inch slits in the cards to slide them onto the ribbon. When the ribbons are filled with cards, anchor the ends with decorative glass weights. Look for beveled glass pieces with the stained-glass supplies in crafts stores. Glue a paper design to the back of one piece of glass using spray adhesive. When dry, press it to another piece of glass, with the ribbon end sandwiched between. Use hot glue to hold the layers together. Download and print out our paper designs used in the glass weights, or consider images from scrapbook or wrapping papers.
