For this sweet door decoration, Matthew started with an antique pine sock dryer (wooden form with pre-drilled holes to aid in drying) and painted it red. Next he bundled red and white candy (life savers, red hots, hot tomales, and candied almonds) in see-through tulle and tied the bundles through the holes in the sock form, securing the ends in back. Matthew topped off the sock with ribbon and fresh evergreens.
